Hedging Client Positions
We primarily generate revenue from the spread, meaning we do not profit directly from whether a client wins or loses their trades.
Internalization of Client Positions
Many of our client positions naturally offset one another. For instance, at any given time, we often see a similar number of traders buying and selling EUR/USD. This process, known as internalization, helps balance our exposure.
Risk Management
To maintain financial stability, we adhere to strict internal risk limits. These ensure that the risk we hold remains at safe levels and does not compromise the company’s security.
When client positions create an imbalance, we hedge to offset excess risk. For example:
- If a majority of clients are buying GBP/USD, we execute orders with our liquidity providers in the same direction as our clients. This helps us net off the risk and maintain a secure trading environment.
This approach allows us to operate transparently and responsibly while prioritizing the safety of our clients and the business.
